The MID49 Upper Cage for Sony FX2 is a formfitting accessory mounting platform that allows you to mount numerous accessories without stressing your camera's body. It has multiple 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, and M4x20mm threaded holes with ARRI anti-twist divots. In addition, it features a swing-away HDMI lock that protects your camera's HDMI port, which ties into your camera's threaded hole on the side to prevent tipping under the force of focus motors. Your camera mounts on the Upper Cage, which has a lower Arca-Swiss dovetail with an adjustable lens support clamp with three included lengths of 1/4"-20 support screw that attach to 3rd party lens adapters such as Metabones, as well as others. It includes a handle tie-down for the Sony XLR-H1 audio handle, which adds stability to the setup, reducing stress on the MI Shoe connection.
