MicW N201 Overview
Audio engineers and sound recordists looking for a stereo matched pair of professional-quality small-diaphragm condenser microphones will be impressed with the micW N201 Stereo Kit, a pair of omnidirectional microphones that are suitable for critical recording applications requiring extreme performance and environmental stability. The microphones are well suited for recording drums, guitar, bass, percussion, speech/vocals, and room ambiance. This matched pair also works well as an AB stereo pair for symphonic concert hall recordings. Each matched pair is guaranteed to the sensitivity match within .5 dB and phase matched within 5°.
Each mic features a 1/2" capsule that provides a flat frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz and a low noise floor of 18 dBA. There are several acoustic accessories available separately that modify the acoustic behaviors of the mic in terms of directional patterns and low- or high-frequency responses. The microphone kit includes two shockmount mic holders, two windscreens, calibration files, and a hard carry case.
