The matte black MD 100 from Microtech Gefell is a workhorse dynamic microphone designed to clearly capture speech, vocals, and instruments for studio recordings and live performances, presentations, and events. The dynamic moving-coil capsule requires no power for operation and delivers a wide 50 Hz to 16 kHz frequency response with a slight high-frequency bump for added presence.
With its cardioid polar pattern, the MD 100 focuses sound pick up on the performer, helping to reduce feedback when on-stage monitors or sound reinforcement gear is used. A standard 3-pin XLR connector allows the MD 100 to connect with a wide range of professional preamps, interfaces, mixers, and PA equipment.
