The black MICRO LAPEL 1 from Microphone Madness is a durable, miniature lavalier microphone designed for performers, presenters, and film/video crews. The mic offers a 3' cable that terminates in a gold-plated non-locking 3.5mm TRS plug for use with portable audio recorders, wireless transmitters, and similar devices that are able to supply the 1.5 to 10V plug-in power needed to power the electret-condenser capsule.
With its wide 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range and 90 dB dynamic range, the MICRO LAPEL 1 provides clear, intelligible reproduction of speech, dialog, and vocals. The microphone's omnidirectional polar pattern picks up sound from 360° around the capsule, helping to deliver consistent levels, even when the talent turns away from the mic capsule.
This lavalier microphone comes with a Shure miniature wide-mouth universal holding clip, which attaches to the mic cable and allows you to easily clip the lav to talent. A foam windscreen is included to reduce wind, breath, and plosive noise.
