The CV-PS5210 from Metcal is a CV-5200 series Connection Validation� digital soldering station. It delivers the right amount of power based on the requirements of the solder joint through the use of SmartHeat® technology. The SmartHeat® senses the thermal load and instantly delivers power on demand directly to the joint. The embedded, self-regulating heater delivers right amount of power based on the requirements of solder joint. This provides a fast, safe and repeatable process with no calibration required. It features 10 to 40°C ambient operating temperature and 55°C maximum enclosure temperature. Tip temperature accuracy meets or exceeds IPC J-STD-001 standard.
