Meridian Technologies PR-160R Overview
The Series 160 PR-160R-V3-1 Uni-Directional FM Video with RS-232 Data Receiver Card from Meridian Technologies enables transmission of one channel of real-time video and RS-232 data signals over a single multimode fiber channel. It seamlessly transmits B&W or color video signals at a distance of up to 3.7 miles (6km).
The receiver card is compatible with Meridian's PC based SpectraSmart Network Management and Diagnostic software system that is capable of supervising the operating parameters of the transmission system such as status on video levels, sync, FM carrier detect, voltage, temperature, optical levels, etc., and external equipment which are attached to the Meridian equipment. The receiver card can be installed in Meridian's card chassis or 19" racking frames. The system can be configured in either star (module-to-rack) or trunking (rack-to-rack) configurations. It can be converted to a standalone module with the SR-500 Card Chassis (not included).
