Meridian Technologies PT-190 Overview
The PT-190R-1 3-Channel Wideband FM Receiver Card from Meridian Technologies enables transmission of 3 real time signals over 3 multimode fibers up to a distance of up to 3.7 miles. It supports transmissions of PAL, SECAM, and NTSC formats in B&W or color. This receiver is compatible with Meridian?s PC based SpectraSmart Network Management & Diagnostic Software System. SpectraSmart supervises the operating parameters of the transmission system such as the status on video levels, sync, digital carrier detect, voltages, temperatures, optical levels, etc.
This rack mount card can be installed in Meridian?s card chassis, desk chassis, and 19? racking frames. It can also be converted to a module by installing it in the SR-500 card chassis (not included). This system can be configured in either star (module to rack) or trunking (rack to rack) configurations.
