Meridian Technologies FT-8V1C1G/1C1G Overview
The DigiSlim FT-8V1C1G/1C1G-2 Transmission System with 8-Channel NTSC/PAL Video (8-bit, 7 MHz), 1-Channel Bi-directional Contact Closure, and 1-Channel Bi-directional Multi-protocol Data from Meridian Technologies transmits 8 channel of NTSC/PAL video (8-bit, 7 MHz), 1 bi-directional contact closure, and 1 bi-directional multi-protocol data over one fiber. This system is compatible with Meridian's PC based SpectraSmart, a network management and remote diagnostic software system. SpectraSmart supervises the operating parameters of the transmission system such as status on audio parameters, carrier detect, voltage, temperature, optical levels, and data activity.
The FT-8V1C1G/1C1G-2 system is available as rack mount card that can be installed in all of Meridian's card chassis, desk chaises and 19" racking frames. It can be configured in either star (module to rack) or trunking (rack to rack) configurations. It can also be made a standalone system by using the separately available SR-500, 1 slot desk/wall mount chassis (12 to 24 VAC)
