Meridian Technologies SXB-1R Overview
The DigiNet SXB-1R-2 1-Channel Bidirectional 10/100 Ethernet Hardened Media Converter Card from Meridian Technologies transmits and receives one channel of bidirectional 10/100 Base-T Ethernet data over one multimode fiber. The auto-negotiation (MDI/MDIX) feature eliminates the need for any internal adjustments or settings. For proper operation, it is necessary to match this unit with its associated SXA-1R-2 unit.
The SXB-1R-2 Media Converter Card is environmentally hardened and operates over the standard NEMA TS-2 temperature range, which makes it suitable for outdoor installations. It features standard shielded RJ-45 connectors for CAT5 compatibility. This media converter card can be installed in Meridian's standalone, desk, or 19" chassis.
