Meridian Technologies PT-170 Overview
The 170R Series PT-170R-V5A5A-0 1-Channel Unidirectional FM Video with 2-Channel Audio System Transmitter Card from Meridian Technologies transmits one channel of real-time 7 MHz NTSC/PAL/SECAM video and two channels of balanced/unbalanced audio signals over a single multimode fiber channel to the PR-170R-V5A5A-0 Receiver Card (available separately). It seamlessly transmits B&W or color video signals up to a distance of 3.7 mi (6km).
The transmitter card can be installed in Meridian's card chassis or 19" racking frames. The system can be configured in either star (module-to-rack) or trunking (rack-to-rack) configurations. It can be converted to a standalone module with the separately available SR-500 Card Chassis.
