Merging Technologies Hapi MKIII Overview
Building upon the renowned flexibility and sonic transparency of its predecessor, the MERGING+HAPI MK III Audio Interface retains the same RAVENNA/AES67 connectivity, but now boasts Dante-ready connectivity to significantly enhance its versatility. Designed as both a primary interface for smaller setups and an ideal companion for Horus systems requiring control room I/O, the interface delivers exceptional networked audio solutions in a compact 1 RU form factor�perfect for broadcast, live events, and studio environments.
HAPI MK III offers eight channels of AES/EBU I/O and eight ADAT or two S/PDIF I/O (via Toslink), and features dual network interfaces. Its two expansion slots support AD8D, AD8P, DA8, DA8P, MADI, or PT64 option cards for additional analog and digital I/O. When fully equipped with expansion cards, the interface delivers up to 152 inputs and 154 outputs at 1FS. Precision-engineered in Switzerland, HAPI MK III upholds the highest manufacturing standards, delivering audio quality that exceeds industry benchmarks.
Redundant network RJ45 connectors ensure reliability and security. The second network port can be utilized in switch mode to connect an extra interface or system.
