MCS Archival Series Overview

Made of solid wood, the front glass offers protection against ultraviolet light that can cause fading and discoloration, and the 5x7" mat and back-mounting board are acid- and lignin-free to prevent yellowing of certain types of papers and deterioration over time due to damaging chemical reactions, as can happen with regular non-archival paper. The frame has a wide face measuring one and three quarters inches with simple details that won't distract from the frame's subject. The frame measures one inch in depth. This model features an easel back for tabletop display.
