Description
For small, battery-operated electronics with existing chargers, or primary cell applications, the MAX77640/1 SIMO PMIC provides a high level of power management functionality while extending battery life. It has a smaller solution size versus its closest competitor while offering additional functionality and more power rails and extends battery life with a low quiescent current that powers all 3 rails with a quiescent current of 3.0µA and a shutdown current of 300nA. Additionally, with 3 buck-boost rails, it provides higher system efficiency (85% efficiency) for all rails than a solution with 1 buck and 2 LDOs. It's also highly customizable with fewer external parts needed and includes integrated GPIOs (which support push buttons), LED drivers, and analog multiplexer for power monitoring.
