Description
The MAX203CPP+G36 is a +5V, RS232 transceiver in 20 pin DIP package. It is a RS232 and V.28 transceiver with integrated charge pump circuitry for single +5V supply operation. It consists of three sections such as charge pump voltage converters, drivers (transmitters) and receivers. The integrated charge pump circuitry eliminates the need for bipolar ?12V supply and enables single supply operation from +5V or 9V to +12V. The driver maintains the ?5V EIA/TIA-232E output signal levels at data rates in excess of 120Kbps when loaded in accordance with the EIA/TIA-232E specification. The device uses no external components and it is recommended for applications with limited circuit board space.
