This is a great stand. It has a combo head; junior receiver, and baby pin. It can go up to 10.5' high, and can hold 88 lbs. I wanted really heavy duty light stands, and this one certainly fits that description.
Huge, heavy duty, and well made
When it comes to how big the darn thing is, I'd give it one star. It's humongous. The wingspan of the base is better than 3 feet across. However, it can easily balance a Para 222 on a decent length boom stand, so you get what you pay for. It is absolutely built tough and the wheels are appropriately heavy duty for the stand.
My new favorite stand for overhead photography
The rolling stand has been a savior on many shoots! It's super solid, feels good, has a great height, really happy I bought it! Added a boom arm to it for overhead shots, I love it!
Incredibly Solid!!!
I took it out on location for a first trial. With light and 5' octa, together, weighing about 15-20lbs + boom arm. This thing was sturdy. Its 5' footprint is impressive especially outdoors with some wind. Be prepared, however, to lift it! That's not a gripe by any means. It's just not light.
