Love this C clamp, it's built like a tank!
Great clamps!
You gotta give it to those clever folks at Matthews. C Clamp is strong, and with two pin positions allows flexibility of position, or ability to hang 2 studio lights etc.
Must have for grips
This is a must have for any grips or lighting guys wanting to mount securely to odd places. Wedge between plywood and foam for extra security. Although it is very heavy, it adds to the overall strength. Not as important as cardalini clamps or mafer clamps, but still great for saving the day on set.

Worked great for me
I used one of these to hang a light. It worked perfectly. They were a little bigger than I anticipated but oddly enough I wish I had gotten a bigger size to clamp around the object I was clamping to.

strong but low quality coating
this is a very strong C-clamp, but mine were already rusting on arrival. I think its a zink coating or something, but it had already peeled off and the raw metal was exposed and rusty.
