The hood comes in very useful when you use the monitor outdoors but at times just as useful indoors.
The hood attaches to the monitor by various methods, all optional. A most common way is by touch fasteners. These attach to the sides of the monitor and the hood can then be stuck to them and removed from them and so on back and forth. Touch fasteners can affordably be purchased in most all hardware stores.
