one trick pony
This stand does it's job but not much else. I bought it to hold a Lastolite 5x7' pop up green screen, and it does that fairly well, but it's not especially sturdy for the price. The product description also mentions a stud on top of the stand, but it actually has a plastic clip for grabbing onto the frame of pop up backgrounds or reflectors. That clip is riveted onto the top of the stand, so you can't take it off and use the stand for something else, such as holding a light, etc. In retrospect, I wish I had just bought a basic light stand and used that to hold up the green screen instead---it would be more flexible for multiple uses, and would be cheaper and sturdier to boot.
I returned this item.
Bought it to put my backdrop up and found it too difficult to put on. It did not work for what I wanted.

Helpful to hold background screen. I hang off the bracker instead of inserting screen in bracket as I find bracket hard to use

This stand holds the collapsible backgrounds very well. The background itself like to warp.
Not exactly what I expected
I bought this stand to hold my Lastolite foldable backdrop. I really expected this stand to be a bit stronger/sturdier. I've only used it once so far and it worked but I'm concerned about how long it will last. It was also very difficult to hook the backdrop to it.
Lightweight
I've been using this for 2 days to hold up a Lastolite LB56FM 5x6 collapsible background. It's working great so far with no issues. Lightweight, but strong enough to hold the backdrop. Folds up easily. It has some clippy things but I haven't been using them, I just drape the hook of the backdrop over the hanger at the top and it stays up. The stand is branded Manfrotto.
Collapsible Backgrounds Stand
I needed one for a Savage collapsible 7x5 background I bought that showed a box with a photo on it showing that it came with a stand, but it did not. Shocking! I got this one and it is better then the one that would have been in the box.........................................
