Manfrotto MH494 Overview
The 0.7 lb Manfrotto 494 Center Ball Head with Round Disc is a universal platform with a 1/4"-20 threaded camera mount that is compatible with mirrorless, point-and-shoot, and DSLR cameras. It can support the weight of these cameras up to 17.6 lb. The 3.9" tall ball head has a main locking knob with an integrated thumb-dial friction control to increase tension for tighter and smoother movement on the ball. The cut notch on the side of the head lets you place a camera in a 90° angle, and the lateral tilt range of the head is -90 to 40°. Releasing the independent pan lock allows you to rotate the camera a full 360°.
