This B&H Kit includes the Manfrotto 322RC2 Grip Action Ball Head with a 322RA Quick Release Assembly . The 322RC2 head is unique in that it allows the camera mounting assembly to be positioned for left or right hand operation, in horizontal or vertical position, and will allow you to unblock, move, position, and lock your camera with one hand in one position. This is due to the revolutionary design of its grip handle which incorporates the ball lock lever. The very act of taking your hand away from the grip locks the head into position, which eliminates the extra step of having to tighten a knob or lever before being ready to shoot. The tension of the ball can be adjusted to accommodate the load weight.

An additional Manfrotto 322RA quick release assembly is included in this kit - this accessory allows the user to create a secondary camera mounting location on the surface of the grip head.

  The Manfrotto 322RC2 Grip Action Ball Head offers the versatility of a ball head, with true ergonomic control.

  The Manfrotto 322RA Quick Release Adapter can be a replacement RC2 quick release assembly specifically for the 322RC2 Grip Action Ballhead, or it can be used as an additional camera adapter so that the weight of your camera stays centered over the tripod whether you're composing a horizontal or a vertical image.  RC2 ( 3157N ) type plates are required for this adapter.
