Just What I Needed!
I was looking for a solution to get my 15 diameter GVM soft light above my desk on a not-so-tall shelf for my Zoom calls. This sturdy base was the perfect size and it works great for my needs. I highly recommend it!
Solid gear
Picked up two of these for what will mainly be backlighting. These things are the goods. Solidly built and with the spigot ready to go for mounting lights.

I use three of these in macro photography of wildflowers to hold lights and scrims. Fold up nice for backpacking to remote sites. Very well built will support a lot of weight.

A must for every grip kit
We don't use it all the time but its the correct tool for mounting a light or fixture low to the ground.

Well made, heavy duty, versatile and easy to use. Using for tabletop shooting with 7.5 lb light and works great.
It's low to the ground, lighweight, and compact
Not much to say with this. For the price, this a great piece of gear from a great company. As a wedding videographer who needs to get his accent lights close to the ground for some settings, this light stand fits the bill quite well. It's compact enough that it easily fits in my Nanlite Forza 300 case with tons of room to spare. It looks professional and feels solid. Highly recommended!
