Intelligent Control

Intelligently control your mBot-S with three preset modes including obstacles avoidance, line-following, and manual control. By switching between modes, children can command the robot to automatically avoid obstacles or move along a line. In the manual mode, children can manipulate mBot-S directly using the companion software or a remote controller, available separately.

Wireless Connectivity

A built-in Bluetooth module in the mBot-S allows for easy connection via Bluetooth; connect to a non-Bluetooth laptop or desktop using the Makeblock Bluetooth dongle, available separately.

Easy Expansion

Expand creativity even further thanks to compatibility with most LEGO parts and the Makeblock building system. Additionally, the electronic components are based on the Arduino open-source system for unlimited programming potential; the robot's mainboard utilizes Arduino Uno and features a buzzer, light sensor, and RGB LEDs for an intuitive approach to exploring electronic modules.

Four built-in RJ25 ports allow your mBot-S to connect to more electronic modules and accomplish a wide range of expanded applications. The RJ25 expansion ports do not need soldering; the plug-in design greatly reduces the difficulty for children to connect wires. Plus, unique color labels enable children to easily identify the correct ports. The mBot-S is compatible with up to 100 RJ25 modules, available separately.
