The kit includes a Stationary RF Transmitter with its antenna, four LR-500-72 portable receivers, four LA-164 ear speakers, two LA-438 advanced neck loops, eight LA-362 rechargeable batteries for the receivers, and the LA-304 asssistive-listening notification signage kit.
Operating at 72 MHz, the Stationary RF Transmitter Package from Listen Technologies can be used in a variety of assisted-listening applications, broadcasting signal from your particular audio system to a belt-pack or stationary receiver. This model comes pre-packaged with an LA-106 Telescoping Top-Mounted Antenna and an LA-304 Assistive Listening Notification Signage Kit to facilitate communication between you and your audience, whoever they happen to be. With its 80 dB signal-to-noise ratio, it provides intelligible audio across 57 selectable channels, all digitally tuned so that your transmissions won't drift. Up to eight channels can be used simultaneously on the 72 MHz frequency with multiple transmitters.
The transmitter's Look & Listen LCD displays channel, lock, programming, and RF power, while balanced and unbalanced inputs allow you to connect with a variety of audio sources. The transmitter is rack-mountable and features auto-processing to make the audio clearer for audible transmission. To make the unit easier to set up and install, a VU level meter and test tone generator are included.
The LR-500-72 Portable Programmable Display RF Receiver from Listen Technologies is a 72 MHz digital audio receiver for use with assistive listening systems. The unit works with the LT-700 and LT-800 transmitters and can supply audio to mono or stereo headphones (headphones and transmitters available separately).
This multichannel receiver has a Look & Listen LCD screen that shows programming status, channel, lock, battery level, and RF signal strength. Channel selector buttons are located on the front of the unit. It has channel seek capability and is powered by AA batteries. The LR-500 will run for up to 30 hours on alkaline batteries and 15 hours on NiMH rechargeable batteries.
The LA-164 Ear Speaker from Listen Technologies is designed to fit easily over your ear. It's constructed of hard plastic, making it easy to clean. The earpiece can be used at venues where it can be continuously cleaned and re-used, or with hearing aids.
The LA-438 Advanced Neck Loop from Listen Technologies allows listeners using a telecoil-equipped hearing aid or cochlear implant to utilize an assistive listening system. Simply connect the loop into a Listen Technologies wireless receiver (available separately) and slip it around your neck. The "T" coil or cochlear implant will pick up the sound wirelessly and amplify the transmitted sound into your ear.
This 4-pack of AA NiMH Rechargeable Batteries from Watson are ideal for digital cameras, flashes, and other compatible photographic equipment. The batteries feature a capacity of 2500mAh and an output of 1.2V. Additionally, the batteries can be recharged up to 500 times.
