Leofoto SF-01 Overview
Aiming to improve on the default design, the Leofoto SF-01 is a replacement lens foot for Sony Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS and FE 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 GM OSS lenses. This aluminum support features an Arca-Type double-dovetail design, 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 receivers, and a QD (Quick Disconnect) socket for quickly attaching a compatible strap or sling. Two M3 screws are included for use as optional safety stops.

Big improvement on standard foot
Sturdy construction. Benefits from being ARCA Swiss compatible. Particularly like the QD mounting socket allowing use of a QD swivel mount for easy connection to a Black Rapid or similar caribiner equipped strap.
Great Product
Excellent build quality. Much better than having to add the Arca-Swiss attachment to the bottom of the stock foot.
Works just fine, robust construction priced right.
Of the Arca-style feet for these lenses, this seems to be the best. It has a very close resemblance to one marketed at a higher price without a discernible difference in form or substance. It is longer than Sony's foot, and that allows for a more comfortable carry handle. Also, it has a hole for a QR carry device (strap or handle) that Sony doesn't provide on its foot. I've used this on my monopod (RRS clamp) and it works just fine. My only beef is that the button for the little safety catch sticks out, where on the Sony foot, it is a button that is almost flush to be pressed in. This could allow for an unintended release if the foot is not screwed down. Recommended.
Superb quality engineering
Leofoto make GREAT quality gear, a standard to aspire to. The replacement foot for my Sony FE 70-200mm f2.8 GM lens makes a big difference, lighter, lower and an Arca swiss rail, what's not to like ? I have a few bits of their kit and it's all first class and the same can be said for customer service

Purchased the lens foot to use a QD disconnect attachment for my Sony FE 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 lens, either with or without the Sony Alpha A1 camera. Very pleased!
