A small hole lines up with the camera's mount indicator to make quick, easy work of aligning the lens with the mount.
Another benefit of the LensCoat is that it helps break up the shape of your lens, making it less noticeable to wildlife so you're less likely to scare them off. The cover is made in the USA from 100% closed-cell neoprene. Included with it is an additional piece designed for use when the lens is zoomed out to 400mm.
