Leitz Cine Henri Overview
Add a director's viewfinder to your production with the HENRI Support Base Kit from Leitz Cine. The kit includes the HENRI handheld support rig for the Leica SL2-S mirrorless camera. The HENRI rig features a swing-away Bolex-style handle with an integrated start/stop button, a shutter release cable, a quick release camera plate, a dual-rod system with multiple rod length choices to add an optional follow focus or matte box, and a bracket to hold an optional L-to-LPL or LPL-to-PL mount adapter. The bracket mounts around your choice of lens or lens adapter, creating a handy director's viewfinder.
The compact SL2 or SL2-S mounts easily onto the HENRI when a lens is attached, and the whole assembly (without the lens attached) weighs only 4 lb, making it an ideal choice for a director's viewfinder. The kit comes with a Pelican 1450 case with a custom-cut foam insert to store and transport the entire kit.

The Leitz HENRI system is a lightweight aluminum and carbon fiber support with an integrated swing-away handle reminiscent of a Beaulieu Super 16 camera.
The system connects to the SL2 or SL2-S camera with either an optional Leitz L-to-LPL or LPL-to-PL mount adapter (interchangeable), and it is designed to quickly go from handheld to tripod or monopod mount.
Standard follow focus systems can be attached easily to the dual rods.
The handle includes a camera start/stop button that allows for instant image capture or recording without having to reset your hands.
The complete system without the lens weighs only 4 lb.
Director's Finder and Filming Mode
The Leica SL2 and SL2-S models are designed with the cinematographer in mind, and the HENRI system makes shooting with the camera and professional cine lenses even easier.
Your SL2 or SL2-S sensor can be selected for either full frame or cropped to an APS-C/Super 35 size depending on the format of the lenses.
Frame lines for common aspect ratios can be applied for either setting. The available frame lines include 1.33:1, 1.66:1, 1.78:1, 1.85:1, 2.35:1, and 2.40:1.
