MD-GIK-S05-500-P5-I is a mineral insulated type K thermocouple - 0.5mm GHJ. It is a fast response type K thermocouple with grounded hot junction, Inconel® alloy 600, threaded pot seal and tails. Inconel® alloy 600 provides excellent oxidation resistance, not suitable for sulphur bearing atmospheres above 550°C. Typical applications include heat treatment processes, annealing furnaces, chemical reactors, man -made fibre and synthetic material production, steam boilers, paper industry etc. Termination is 100mm PFA PTFE twin twisted 7/0.2mm tails, +green/-white colour coded in accordance with IEC 584-3.

- Highly flexible, sheath can be bent/formed to suit many applications and processes
- Probe temperature range -40°C to +750°C, M8 x 1.0mm fine pitch threaded pot seal (200°C)
- Conforms to IEC 584
- Sensor type is type K nickel chromium/nickel aluminium to IEC 584-1&2
- Single element, hot junction grounded to sheath
- 500mm probe length, green positive tail wire, white negative tail wire
