The Klover Equalized Microphone Kit gives you several additions to improve upon the KMEQ already included within the bundle.
A word on the KMEQ: It's an omnidirectional lavalier condenser microphone whose design features an electronic circuit that equalizes the microphone to match the acoustic characteristics of a different Klover microphone, the MiK 09 parabolic collector. This electronic circuit is housed within the KMEQ's 3-pin XLR connector, and it allows the microphone to achieve a deeper, more natural timbre when paired with Klover's parabolic mic configurations. Indeed, it is equalized to match the acoustic response of the Klover MiK 09 parabolic connector. The capsule, which is water-resistant, has been custom made for Klover by Countryman Associates, a brand notable for its lavalier creations.
In addition to this mic, the kit provides you with a carrying case, and two different caps for boosting the level of your audio output, one giving you an extra 4 dB, the other 8 dB.
