Klover KMEQ Overview
The Klover KMEQ is an omnidirectional lavalier condenser microphone whose design features an electronic circuit that equalizes the microphone to match the acoustic characteristics of a different Klover microphone, the MiK 09 parabolic collector. This electronic circuit is housed within the KMEQ's 3-pin XLR connector, and it allows the microphone to achieve a deeper, more natural timbre when paired with Klover's parabolic mic configurations. Indeed, it is equalized to match the acoustic response of the Klover MiK 09 parabolic connector. The capsule, which is water resistant, has been custom made for Klover by Countryman Associates, a brand notable for its lavalier creations.
