KIPON E20074 Overview
The KIPON BAVEYES 0.7x PRO Lock Focal Reducer enables legacy Hasselblad V-mount lenses to be used on ARRI PL-mount large-format cinema cameras. The built-in 3 groups of 5 optical glasses reduce the focal length by 0.7x, which shortens the effective length, leading to a larger shooting range. This allows the medium format lens' view angle to be restored on a full-frame sensor.
Focal Reducer
The integrated optical system reduces the effective focal length by 0.7x, producing a wider field of view while increasing the effective lens speed. This allows cinematographers to achieve brighter images and improved lens performance.
Locking Design
The integrated pro lock mechanism helps secure the lens firmly to the adapter, reducing small vibrations or movement that can occur during video capture.
Infinity Focus Support
The adapter maintains infinity focus, allowing compatible lenses to focus correctly across their full focusing range.
Manual Lens Operation
Although the lens mounts physically to the camera, electronic communication is not supported. Autofocus, automatic aperture control, and other electronic functions are unavailable, so lenses must be operated manually.
