Key Digital 8-Button Programmable IP, RS-232, and IR Control Wall Plate Keypad with PoE

The KD-WP8-3 may be integrated with Key Digital Master Controllers such as the KD-CX800, KD-MC1000, or KD-IP822/922/1022 to control additional IR, RS-232, and voltage relay devices. You can configure button events as desired for press, release, toggle, or press-and-hold actions. Directly connect network cabling from the KD-WP8-3 to PoE injector and a Master Controller for installation without network setup hassle.

Along with selectable blue or red backlighting, the KD-WP8-3 includes multiple transparent icon sheets. You can easily insert the sheets beneath detachable, transparent button caps to achieve a modern and professional appearance and create your own button icons with a uniform look and feel thanks to 175 transparent icons on the included icon sheets, and downloadable online button templates are also available for custom printing.

The keypad allows you to lock and unlock using key combinations, or you can use a virtual keypad with password-protected interfaces. These interfaces include web UI, Key Digital Management PC Software, and KD-App.

You can export and import completed project files to save programming time and easily set up multiple keypads in similar installations.

The simple open API for KD-WP8-3 enables easy integration with professional control systems, including the Q-SYS plugin. It uses a simple two-way communication protocol for IP integration with control systems using the open API.
