The R47 Series is constructed of metallized polypropylene film encapsulated with self-extinguishing resin in a box of material meeting the requirements of UL 94 V�0. Automotive Grade devices are available (up to 22.5 mm Lead Spacing) and meet the demanding Automotive Electronics Council's AEC�Q200 qualification requirements. For use as a electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression filter in across-the-line applications requiring X1 safety classification. Intended for use in situations where exposure to a shock in the event of capacitor failure is not possible. X1 classified capacitors are for use only in a permanently connected apparatus with a connection to mains which cannot be loosened without the use of a tool.
