KanexPro RPT4K Overview
Expand or cascade HDMI 2.0 signals with this HDMI UHD 4K Cable Repeater from KanexPro, thanks to its HDMI input and output. The repeater supports up to UHD 4K video at 60 Hz and can extend those signals up to 16' per cable segment. The device can cascade the signal up to four times. This feature, in combination with the micro-USB power port, allows you to integrate active HDMI cables that require additional power to operate chipsets from Redmere or Spectra7 technology or legacy HDMI 1.x standards.
The unit can also be powered by 5V from standard HDMI signals. All functionality of the repeater is automatic, so there is no need for external controls. It supports LPCM digital, Bitstream, and HD Bitstream audio pass-through. A lightweight and compact construction makes for easy installation into your preexisting signal extension setup.
