KanexPro SW-HD Overview
Highly compact, featuring a quick-access "switch" button and corresponding LED indicators, and supporting up to UltraHD 4K resolution, the KanexPro 3x1 HDMI Switcher is a minimalist, trendy, user-friendly device for the home, office, or retail establishment. Connect cable boxes, Blu-ray players, game consoles, and other HDMI sources to your 4K TV, HDTV, or projector and toggle your sources rapidly using the switch button or the included remote control.
One of the distinguishing features of this switcher is that it has ultra low power consumption and doesn't require an external power supply. It is simply powered off any one of your connected HDMI sources. In rare cases when your HDMI source consumes an unusually high amount of power, you can power the switcher by connecting it to your PC using an included USB to barrel connector cable.
The switcher supports high-quality video and audio, including Deep Color, HD lossless audio formats, and Lip Sync. It is HDCP compliant for compatibility with HDCP protected devices, like most cable boxes, and it features EDID support for compatibility with most displays.

Works great
Using this to have a newer 4K Chromecast with Google TV and a DVD player so I can run just one HDMI cable to my ceiling-mounted projector. Works great! Switches automatically, and I like that I don't have to plug it into power or fuss with anything.
Unusable, noise on inputs, even after getting a new unit
First one developed noise on all inputs after a few months of very light use (computer and Roku for sources, monitor for output). RMA process was good and got a new one, but it too developed noisy inputs after a few days. The noise showed up as white random static all over the screen. Ended up with a different switcher from Azn and have had no problems so far.
Excellent switch
This 4x1 HDMI switch is perfect for a home application. The signal pass thru is crisp and easy to set up and utilize. If speed is a concern while switching, it isn't instantaneous, so there is a momentary delay between inputs.
Does the job but a little slow
I use the switcher to change the input for a monitor. I have the monitor set up as a second monitor for my laptop. I use the switcher to check my mirrorless camera's video feed. It takes a second or two for the switch to complete. During that time my monitor goes blank. The remote is great, just be sure to keep the remote's receiver in a place where you have a direct line of sight from the remote. It won't work if there is a piece of equipment between them.
Second time's the charm
First switch worked perfectly, except the remote. Unfortunately either the remote wasn't transmitting or receiver wasn't getting signal. Either way, it only worked about 12" from the device. The second unit works perfectly. Remote is good, signal from Streaming device, XBOX and WiiU is excellent, clear and synchronized. Very happy. Switching is momentarily slow, (full second between) but hardly worth worrying about.
Easy Connect
Used to connect a streaming stick and disk player to an older TV with only one HDMI port, easy switching between the two inputs with push of the button. Works perfectly!
Perfect Passive 4k Splitter
I used this in a custom podcast/tv studio installation, and it has been working flawlessly between 4 sources. It doesn't require A/C power, and also senses a new connection most times, so you don't even have to manually press the button. Thus far, zero issues. (FYI: my sources are: Roku, AppleTV, USB-C/HDMI adapter for laptops, and a Speck media player)
Operational, Not Perfect
Item seems to be quirky, occasionally does not receive input signal and has to be cycled thru the 4 inputs in order to show them. Also occasionally has a several second delay before the video on the various inputs pops up?!
