The Nano L Natural Night Light Pollution Filter from K&F Concept is a square 100 x 100mm filter that helps reduce the unwanted effect of light pollution, giving photographs taken outdoors at night more contrast and clarity. Light pollution adversely affects the quality of nighttime city and architectural photographs, as well as scientific astrophotography in urban areas where artificial light sources are prevalent. This natural light filter blocks the wavelengths of light created by mercury vapor, sodium lights, and other low CRI lights often used as streetlights. These lights are usually yellow/orange and the primary cause of light pollution around cities. This light pollution makes capturing beautiful nightscapes near cities very difficult.
Made of German optical glass, this filter is 2mm thick and fits most popular 100mm filter holder systems. It incorporates Nano coating layer technology with waterproof, scratch-resistant surfaces that effectively protect it from water, oil, fingerprints, and minor abrasions.
