Deliver clean power to connected devices and keep them protected in the event of a power failure with the 1500VA / 1350W On-Line Double-Conversion Rackmount UPS from Juice Goose. Boasting a 1350W power capacity or 1500VA apparent power rating, this uninterruptible power supply sports a NEMA 5-15P plug and eight NEMA 5-15R outlets. Compatible with 120VAC inputs and providing 100, 110, 115, or 120VAC output, the Juice Goose SCV UPS ensures clean power via its double conversion on-line design and pure sine wave topology. Under full load, this UPS supplies 4 minutes of power.
An integrated LCD display lets you take a gander at important system information, or use the USB and serial ports to connect a host device. A smartcard port allows for remote control via a compatible network card. Audible and visual alarms keep you alert to issues, while emergency power off prevents overloading the UPS. Sealed batteries with hot-swap support allow for easy removal and replacement without turning the UPS off, while plug-and-play connectivity ensures easy deployment. Furthermore, the 2U form factor translates to hassle-free installation to standard server racks.
Double conversion on-line technology completely regenerates utility power to correct electrical disturbances, ensuring clean AC power with voltage and frequency independent from the utility.
High Efficiency Protection
Sine wave output and a 3:1 crest factor ensure inrush current loads are easily handled without the need to oversize the UPS. Plus, the battery charger operates in a wide frequency and voltage range, which helps to extend battery life. Furthermore, a 0.90 power factor delivers energy savings and efficiency with low harmonic pollution to the utility power source.
To protect against power overload, the UPS will automatically switch to bypass mode in 30 seconds if the current load is 105% to 120% of rated capacity. It will automatically switch back to the battery-to-inverter mode once the overload condition ceases. Bypass mode voltage maximums and minimums can be set to prevent over or under voltage exposure to connected loads while the UPS is in bypass mode.
The front panel LCD is easy to read and provides real-time indication of major system parameters and status, including load level, input and output voltage, battery status, and fault status. Use the integrated USB and serial ports to connect a host for monitoring and management, or use an optional network card for remote management.
DC Startup enables start-up of the UPS even during a utility blackout.
The programmable receptacles facilitate load shedding and power cycling using the provided software or GUI which accompanies an optional network card.
The Emergency Power Off function shuts down the UPS completely in an emergency to ensure a safe operating environment.
Remote Monitoring and Control
Standard serial and optional network connection allow control of UPS functions and settings as well as monitoring via SNMP, Web, SMS, USB, or True Relay card.
All SCV models have a low-profile 2U rack enclosure design. The same design is used for the extended runtime battery modules.
Plug-and-play connectivity means hassle-free installation. Standard input and output connectors get you up and running in short order.
Battery management functionality analyzes battery discharging status to adjust battery cut-off point and extend life span.
Maintenance-Free Sealed Batteries
The internal batteries have an average service life of 3 to 5 years. Plus, the hot swappable design allows users to replace the batteries without the risk of shock while the UPS continues providing power to connected equipment.
Optional Extended Run Time
External battery cabinets can be connected to the UPS to increase the battery capacity. Simply plug in the cables between the UPS and external battery packs.
