In addition to stripping wires, it can also be used to strip the 900?m buffer coating from fiber optic cables. With a built-in adjustment dial for quickly changing the wire gauge and an adjustable stop that allows you to strip wire to specific lengths from 0.039 to 2.0" long, this tool is easy-to-use and fast to work with. It features a hardened-steel blade and can be heated up to 212°F in water for sterilization purposes.
