JMI Telescopes NGC-superMAX Overview
The JMI NGC-superMAX Complete Installation Kit includes the NGC-superMAX Computer, cable, encoders, necessary gears/pulleys, mounting hardware, computer mounting bracket, and instructional video. The computer has a serial interface, and can be used with a computer or as a standalone unit.
The NGC-superMAX features many modes including: Align, Align Star, Az Alt, Catalog, Encoder, Fix Alt Ref, Identify, RA Dec, Setup, Sidereal, Status, Time, Timer and Tour. There are over 29,000 objects in the database including about 1,100 which are user-definable. The LCD display has a heater option for very cold weather. Free software and database upgrades are available as a download from the internet.
