iStarUSA BPU-128DE Overview
Add more storage to a workstation or desktop with the compact 5.25" to 8 x Slim 2.5" SAS/SATA SSD Hot-Swap Cage from iStarUSA. It allows eight 2.5" SAS/SATA storage drives to be mounted into a single 5.25� drive bay, with data transfer speeds up to 6 Gb/s over SAS/SATA interfaces.
The BPU-128DE-SS can be setup with a single drive or as RAID 0/1/5/JBOD configurations with multiple drives. Its steel-constructed, hot-swappable bays allow for flexibility without powering down your desktop, featuring mechanical locks to ensure the drives are secure. For cooling, the 40mm fan draws airflow away from the drive bays, while the steel constructed housing and vented trays further dissipate heat. Powering the eight drives is accomplished via two 15-pin SATA power connections.
