The Edge 67mm ND1000 Neutral Density Filter from Irix is an essential tool for landscape and long exposure photography. This filter has an optical density of 3.0 and reduces incoming light by 10-stops, allowing more controlled image blur and depth of field manipulation. This unusually dense 10-stop filter makes it possible to achieve exposure times of several minutes, even in bright sunlight.
This optical glass filter features waterproof and oil repellent NANO coating to prevent stains and fingerprints, allow it to be used in extreme weather conditions. The low-profile frames and knurled edges provide very good grip and functionality with a reduced potential for vignetting with wide-angle lenses.
