The LiteCloth 2.0 LC-160 Foldable 2 x 2 LED Mat Kit with V-mount was put together by Intellytech for imaginative imagers makers who realize the potential in shaping their quality of light by literally shaping the light source. The kit includes an LC-160 foldable 24 x 24" LED Mat, a softbox, a diffuser, a mounting bracket, a double-jointed silver stud, and a 100 to 240 VAC controller with a V-mount battery plate.
The LiteCloth is a lightweight fixture that folds to 12 x 12" for storage and transport. It has a wide variable color range of 3000 to 10,000K allowing it to meet the challenge of any ambient light conditions, match other fixtures, or just to shoot creatively. Its high CRI/TLCI ratings of 97/98 are your assurance of superior color rendering. Light intensity is variable too, from 0-100%. The mat has wide control options as well. You can make adjustments on the mat of course, but you can also make them from a console via DMX, wirelessly with Bluetooth on your smartphone using the Intellytech LiteSync app, or with an optional remote that allows you to control up to 100 LC-160s. The LC-160 is ready for worldwide use thanks to its 100 to 240V universal controller but you can also run the light on optional V-mount batteries when mains power is unavailable

Fantastic
These things are fantastic! They have soooo much power. Great for travel or overheating lighting.
A few welcome improvements
I have one of the original LC-160s and just got a 2.0 to supplement it. The LED panels appear to be similar or identical to the previous ones. On the old version, the velcro strips that connect the bracket to the panels' backing start detaching after hanging for a while (both the velcro and the adhesive, though it takes a long time), so the addition of grommets to the backing and ties to secure it to the bracket is very welcome. The new model also seems to be more tightly manufactured, as the diffuser and grid sag a lot less out of the box, at least on my unit. This wasn't a big deal on the old one but it does look much better now. I'm of two minds about the new controller: there's no more brick attached to it but it is a lot bulkier as a consequence. It's good that a clamp is included specifically to mount it. The screen and interface are functional, but fairly dated. The LEDs no longer immediately turn on after powering on the controller (there is a delay of about a second) but a dedicated blackout button is provided, which is instantaneous. One thing that I miss is dedicated output and temperature dials; you now have to press a button to select the parameter you want and turn the single dial to change it. However, I'm not going to lower the rating for that, because the old dials were admittedly too easy to turn accidentally, and the new system makes that far harder. I can't comment on connectivity options, as I've never used them.

Awesome right out of the box!
I used these for the first time a couple days ago. They arrived just in time to take them out of the box before my shoot and I did not have time to truly test as I normally would. I needed something softer, and brighter, and frankly easier to use than my aging Kinos, and these fit the bill. The larger fixture wrapped really nicely around the subject. The easy to use velcro made set up of the lights, soft box, and grid a snap. The multifunction ballast made color and intensity a breeze to control. Our interview subject looked fabulous, and the lights folded right back up into the included pelican style case. Bright, beautiful, and as far as I can see, very accurate color. These were a gamble for me as I didn't really have the budget for litemats, and I truly feel the Intellytech's are a viable, if not superior, alternative. Especially for the price point.
Not cheap but worth the price
LED mats come in a lot of flavours. After a ton of research this was an absolutely right choice for me. My work consist of corporate, documentary and beauty - fashion type of production. Portable, well constructed and easy to use. I'm using it en every production. I'm very happy with this purchase. Downside is the control box. Well constructed but buttons and interface is very old, it works nontheless. I believe there's room for improvement in the bracket to tilt and pan the LED mat also.
A Great Option for Travel
Bought this light for a shoot in Vegas after using the Mega LiteCloth 2.0 and it was a perfect solution for soft, professional lighting without all the checked bags. I've used this light as a key for continuous light studio photography and packed it up to go to a brand story video shoot in the same day. It's powerful enough to be an incredible key light in most situations while also being one of the least invasive options for those who are a little timid on camera. It does take a little longer for me to set up than a typical dome light but is still a great trade off for something so packable.

Great light. Everything you might need included in the case. Y try GE quality of light is great as well as all the different modes, tv , lightning. Candle light and others. I've yet to check out battery operation but I'm looking forward to it.
