Degrades the quality of footage and not moisture proof
Degrades the Quality of footage and not moisture proof. These need to be glass or an optic, not just a clear piece of plastic. They also need to be removable because moisture will get on to your lens and then you will have to rip them off and then re-mount the covers. It also left a bad glare on the lens on my footage...because it's plastic. Insta360 X3 needs ND filter option let the Insta360 One R does.

Probably will save the lens, but has some downsides
It likely will protect the lens (the guards are just plastic), but it comes with some downsides. The guards stick out significantly more than the lens itself, and as such doesn't fit in the neat pouch intended for the camera. It looks a little ridiculous to me. The larger issue is that it does not do well with sun flares, causing additional artefacts. It also smudges really easily and I suspect it will also get hazy over time from use and require a replacement. Lastly, you cannot submerge this in water. The intention is to take it off with the supplied tool if you plan to submerge the camera, you then have to take the remaining adhesives to reapply them to the camera. I don't see how you buy more of those so my guess is after a couple times you either stop using the product or buy it again. Seems a bit expensive for what it is, really.
Great, but buy extras
Image quality was great, but I scratched the back guard on a jagged rock and had to remove them from the camera. Better the guard than the lense itself. I just wish I would have bought a backup pair or two.
These are not good and they ruin the image
