Use this large 80 x 58" black fabric Rapid Background Screen from Impact to shoot everything from headshots to interviews to product photography in the studio or on location in offices, at events, or in banquet halls. The black screen produces dramatic photos with rich colors and skin tones and adds an elegant touch to images. Made of durable polyester fabric, the screen comes attached to an internal scissor frame that stretches the fabric tight and removes wrinkles that can create uneven light. A spring-loaded roller allows the screen to be raised and lowered quickly and effortlessly with one hand, even if you're holding gear like a boom or a camera in the other hand. The internal spring-loaded roller assures smooth motion when setting up or adjusting the height, and keeps the screen tightly rolled to fit inside its rugged metal case. Pulling Up Some Green Screen Magic!
While the size isn't ideal for people with fixed-focus webcams, this 5' x 7' green screen is nearly perfect for me who just got a Logitech 920 webcam that can zoom in. Set up and break down is a breeze, especially if you intend to reuse the screen as I do - you just pull the screen up right before turning on your webcam, adjust the webcam so the green screen fills the area, and chromakey away! At the end of the session, pull the screen back down into its base - it's that simple. Having previously used a 5'x7' cloth green screen and a stand, I know how big a pain that is to set up and break down. Compared to that, this takes no time at all....
Very cheaply made
I'm not sure if the one I received was defective or just made too cheaply to work right. The feet are supposed to turn 90 degrees to stabilize the screen but it is too top heavy and leans forward too much. The feet are made of very cheap plastic and do not work. I couldn't use it unless it was propped up against something so I decided to return it for something that is made better.
Impact does it again with this fantastic Background.
Speed and portability are critical to my projects. I need to remain versatile and know that my equipment will stand up to the rigors of travel and repeated set-up and tear-down. This Rapid Background Screen from Impact is one of those must have pieces of equipment. For my product photography its a great backdrop behind a table but where this product really shines is it's portability for portraits. It caries nicely, deploys effortlessly and remains sturdy and taut the entire shoot. The matte black is perfect for portraits and it's sturdy construction make it the clear choice when you need a simple backdrop. I highly recommend this product. This green screen has been a life saver for the endless zoom calls and teaching over the past months. Yes the feet are plastic and not so hot, but for the cost it does the trick - esp. for those of us who cannot drill into our ceilings etc. One very big draw back is that it does have a **very strong chemical smell** which has not diminished after several months of nearly daily use. Less of a problem in an office or commercial setting, but in an apartment / near where you / the cat sleeps this is concerning.
Works great, but very large
Very solid build construction, really easy to operate. I'm impressed. Packs up very compactly as well, so easy to store when not in use. The downside is that it's very large. It clearly spells out the size, but experiencing it in person was different. With the whole work from home experience this past year, I wanted something to block out the clutter behind me when streaming and in meetings. This greenscreen dominates my small room and in that sense wasn't a good fit for me. Depending on your situation, consider using a tape measure before purchasing to get a true sense of how it'll fit in your space.
Excellent size and portability, wished the legs were better
Size is excellent for individual online collaboration sessions. With good lighting, the artificial backgrounds work great. It sets up in seconds and easy to put away too. I wished the legs would lock in place when stored. Instead, they swing around loosely. I also wished the pulling handle for the screen was of better quality. It looks like it will break off soon. I recommend for quick setup, easy storage at home of office online meetings.
Great for online teaching
I am a teacher at an online school and use this green screen for seamless backgrounds. Love it. It works great. The stand is a bit flimsy and the screen leans back out an an inch or two so don't leave it up all the time otherwise it will start to bend.

It is great! You don't have to take any additional equipment. Portable and no tripod needed. No wrinkles! Perfect for my headshots. May purchase another one!
