Description
Impact Cheater Plate Overview
The Cheater Plate from Impact features a 3" baby pin that's "cheated" at 30° from perpendicular to create enough clearance for mounting and positioning barndoors when a light fixture is facing down. The base plate has eight mounting holes for using either screws or nails to ensure a solid and secure attachment to masonry, drywall, and apple boxes. The knurled baby pin provides a secure mount that won't twist or slip once the light fixture is attached.
Baby Pin
The standard 5/8" baby pin is angled at 30° to provide enough room to operate a set of barndoors when a light fixture is close to the wall and facing down.
Knurling
The knurled baby pin provides a set screw with a little extra bite for a secure mount that won't slip or twist once the light mount is tightened in place.
8 Mounting Points
The mounting plate has eight mounting holes, so the Cheater Plate can be attached to walls, ceilings, or apple boxes with drywall screws, masonry screws, or nails.
