Inserts into Upper Crossbar3/8"-16 Thread Fits into Top of Stand The Impact 3/8" Top Stud can be used as a replacement or spare for the second generation of the BGS-S12 (v2) background support system. The top of the stud is 3/8" in diameter and unthreaded to accept one end of the crossbar, and the bottom has 3/8"-16 threads to securely connect into the top of the stand. This part can be used with just about any light stand that uses 3/8-16 threaded top studs.
