Impact 3/8-16 Head Mounting Plate Overview
This 3/8"-16 Head Mounting Plate with Hex Stud from Impact is a versatile adapter that allows virtually any tripod head with a 3/8"-16 female thread to be mounted to almost any grip accessory with a hex receiver. The hexagonal baby stud is compatible with most super clamps and won't rotate when it's locked into a 5/8" hex receiver.
The 2.4" aluminum mounting plate provides a sturdy foundation for any mounted head, and it features three setscrews to lock the head in place to prevent rotation. The base stud and top mount are made of brass and won't corrode or rust when exposed to the elements.
Mount a Tripod Head Anywhere
When you use the Impact 3/8"-16 Head Mounting Plate, there are no limits to where you can mount a tripod head. Place a DSLR or camcorder anywhere to achieve creative angles, or mount a camera in a tight or hard-to-reach space. It's also great for mounting accessories with matching hex receivers, like LED lights, flashes, and microphones in unconventional places.
Hex Baby Stud
Any super clamp with a 5/8" hex receiver is compatible with this mounting plate. Insert it into the super clamp's locking receiver, and it won't twist no matter what angle it is set at.
Setscrews
The 2.4" mounting plate features three setscrews to provide the tripod head total stability and security, ensuring it won't loosen or wobble even when mounted sideways or at an angle.
