Ilford SPRITE 35-II Reviews
advance wheel breaks
Took this camera to a couple of concerts. The first time, it worked beautifully and i got some nice shots. BUT, the advance film wheel has an issue now (not sure how) where it doesn't advance to the next shot. I thought I had perhaps loaded the film wrong, but nope. It happened again and looking at the reviews, I see others had the same issue. So now I'm out two rolls of film and some concert memories.
A gift
Bought this as a gift. Definitely better than buying disposable cameras. A larger downpayment but overall it lasts longer and is cheaper than disposables.
Camera broke after first use
The film advance stopped working after the first roll.
Worst
I have shot 2 films. The first one came empty, the other one the pictures were on each other (like double exposure). Don't know how
Unfortunately
In total, I only managed to photograph 2 films and the flash does not work anymore :(
It's great, when the flash works
It's a fun camera... I only use it for fun reception dancing shots, which means I need the flash to be reliable. I give it time to recycle and sometimes it just doesn't fire, which is annoying. The flash ready light also flickers or sometimes isn't very bright. Because it's so cheap, I'm probably going to try a different one.
Film advance broke second time
Never got to use the camera. Film advance dial broke on second shot. Water a roll of fil. Totaal junk for me. Imagine this is an Ilford product and a Holga is superior in build quality.
Flimsy Film Advance
Film advance seems to have an issue, first roll was fine second roll it didn't feel right and now third roll seems that the film advance is almost completely done and film counter no longer works at all.
