The first thing that catches your eye is the unique form factor of the Oryon 18" Ring Light (Version 2) with Phone Mount and Remote from ikan. While most light fixtures have a degree of directionality that allows selective lighting, the Oryon is omni-directional, bathing your subject in soft, flattering light that is very kind to skin tones. ikan employs tightly-binned LEDs softened by a half-stop diffusion filter, maintaining a high CRI/TLCI rating of 97 and 98, indicating advanced degree of color accuracy.
The Oryon Ring Light offers color temperature variable from 2700 to 5600 and anywhere in between to blend seamlessly with other fixtures, or to meet the challenge of ambient light conditions without the burden of applying filters. Light intensity is also adjustable from 0-100% with the simple twist of a knob. While you can make these adjustments locally on the light, ikan has also included a wireless RF controller so you can make them remotely as well.
You can use the Oryon as you would a traditional fixture - on a light stand placed to one side of your subject for wrap-around light and open shadows. It's when you place the camera lens (or smartphone with the included mount) into the center of the 18" ring that the Oryon's signature characteristics emerge - soft light on the face, head, and shoulders, for instance, with shadows cast behind the body. The circular catchlights reflected in your subject's eyes also have a striking effect, especially up close. The Oryon is ready for worldwide use thanks to the inclusion of a multi-voltage AC adapter. A carry case is included for storage and transport.

The 18" multi-mount ring light kit has just the right amount of illumination to give any subject that sparkle in their eyes. The large-diameter opening allows for any size camera to be used with the light. The control knobs on the back of the fixture let you quickly switch from brightness to color with a simple push of the button.
Bi-Color Adjustable and Dimming Control
Dedicated button controls allow you to change the brightness and dial in the required color temperature from 2700-5600K to meet the challenge of any situation.
Remote Control
The included remote control allows you to control the ring light while sitting in front of the camera. The remote can be used to dial in the settings manually or use one of the preset scenes with the push of a button.
High CRI and TLCI
The large 18" ring light has a soft wraparound light quality and features high CRI and TLCI ratings of 97 and 98, ensuring superior accuracy in color rendering.
Permanent Diffuser
The 1/2-stop diffuser gives the light an enveloping quality that works well with your DSLR, mirrorless camera, or smartphone.
