CD Quality Bluetooth Audio
The ZEN Air Blue 2 is powered by a Qualcomm QCC3095 series chipset and comes equipped with Bluetooth 5.4 technology. It can send lossless audio over Bluetooth using the aptX Lossless codec, allowing you to enjoy CD-quality audio (44.1 kHz, 16-bit) delivered with zero data loss. Additionally, the ZEN Air Blue 2 supports Hi-Res audio up to 96kHz, thanks to compatibility with LDAC and LDHC/HWA codecs.
Hi-Fi Circuitry with Separate Bluetooth, DAC, and Amp stages
iFi Audio takes inspiration from Hi-Fi architecture in its approach to Bluetooth implementation. Unlike the standard SoC (System on a Chip) used elsewhere, they combine high-quality components to optimize performance at every stage. A Qualcomm chip handles the raw digital Bluetooth signal, passing it to a dedicated DAC chip for precise digital-to-analogue conversion. From there, the signal flows to the amp stage, featuring custom OV series op amps. To ensure ultimate accuracy, a GMT femto-precision clock system eliminates jitter, delivering Bluetooth performance that stands above the rest.
