From 16 to 2
Used two of these to replace the 16 individual xlr cables running from the microphone rack to the board. Help reduce the clutter and made rewiring simple 1-8 on the cables = 17-24 or 25-32 on the board. Now use the 16 individual xlr for as backup/standby for last minute additions or if a cable goes bad suddenly.

Keeping tidy
To connect an increasing number of microphones from a meeting table in Town Hall to our production table, I was adding audio cables one at a time in various lengths. Now I can tell our administration officer that I'm down to one cable across the floor, which may pacify the town's risk management agent. The signal quality is top-notch. Thanks to for their articles on how those cable are made and what the specs mean, and for answering my questions about what are comparable and compatible.

great hose, great price
I am very pleased with this purchase, and (as always) the price at was the best around.
Value for the dollar
We use this to mic the drum kit. For our application we had to strip back a few feet of the one end, but doing that eliminated the need for additional short xlr cords typical of a regular snake. Have had only a couple gigs since purchase but so far it's performing well.
Great only one very minor critique
Just so you know the length where the 8 cables breaks away from the snake is not very long. So if you are miking drums for example, you can get you bass and maybe a snare and a tom but for overheads and others plan on a few short XLRs to run the rest of the way. THIS IS NOT A ?FLAW at all... just the way it's made. The connectors seems to interlock well and the snake seems sturdy . Recommended
